How to Earn Money?
Ways to Earn
On the Elysium server, there are several ways to earn money.
You can earn money at the smelter, on the farm, by trading on the global market, and by selling resources to players.
Earning at the Market
To start earning money at the market, you need to enter the command /t builds, after which a menu will open with all the town buildings available on the server, and there you need to select the market icon.
At the market, there are many resources you can sell, from custom crops to wood. Also, after each resource you sell, the price at the market will gradually decrease.
Each region has its own market with different goods.
Earning at the Smelter
To start earning money at the smelter, you first need to build it and register it on the forum. To view the requirements for the smelter, enter the command /t builds.
Using this command, you can view not only the requirements for the smelter but also the amount needed for construction and the tax for this building.
Once the architect approves your building, the smelter icon will appear in the /t builds menu. Clicking on it opens a menu with ores that can be sold to earn money.
Also, keep in mind that after each ore sold, the prices at the smelter decrease.
There is also a Smelter+ on the server, where prices are higher than in a regular smelter, and they do not decrease during trading. It can be obtained for mcoin.
Earning at the Farm
To start earning money at the farm, you first need to build it and register it on the forum. To view the requirements for the farm, enter the command /t builds. Using this command, you can view not only the requirements for the building but also the amount needed for construction and the tax for this building.
Once the architect approves your building, the farm icon will appear in the /t builds menu. Clicking on it opens a menu with gold/silver crops that can be sold to earn money.
After each sold gold/silver crop, the price of the item decreases.
Earning Through the Port and Global Market
To start earning money through the global market, you need to build a port and register it on the forum. To view the requirements for the port, enter the command /t builds. Using this command, you can view not only the requirements for the port but also the approval amount and the tax for this building.
Once the architect approves your building, the port icon will appear in the /t builds menu. Clicking on this icon opens a menu with items for sale.
To list your item for sale, enter the command /port sell [price] [quantity], while holding the item in your hand.
Additional Ways to Earn
In addition to the methods mentioned above, there are several other ways to earn, such as outposts, trading with other players, and opening your own shops in your town.
Earning through outposts is simple: you need to capture an outpost so that it is controlled by your nation, and once that happens, you can loot chests with money.
Earning through trading with other players is also straightforward: on the server’s Discord, there is a trading channel where players post requests for what they need to buy or sell.
Earning through your own shops in your town: to start selling items in your town, you need to open a shop. Opening a shop is quite simple: to open your own shop, left-click on a chest, after which a message will appear in the chat prompting you to enter the price of the item. Once you enter the price, your shop is open.
Farming
On our server, you can encounter new interesting crops: tomatoes, cabbage, garlic. Let’s go through everything step by step!
How to Find Plant Seeds?
Simply break grass to find all the seeds of new plants, including the old ones (potatoes, carrots, etc.). Keep in mind that for proper display, you need to install the resource pack (automatically or manually via the `/resourcepack` command).
Planting and Care
Seeds can be planted on regular tilled soil using a hoe. However, many crops won’t grow just anywhere: they require a specific biome.List of Plants by Biome:
1) Cabbage, eggplant, pepper, and garlic can be planted in temperate biomes: forests, plains, and even steppes.
2) Tomatoes and cotton can grow in forests, plains, steppes, and additionally in jungles.
3) Pineapples can be grown in jungles, deserts, and steppes.
4) Grapes - only in steppes and jungles.
5) In taiga, any frozen biomes, or the ocean, no crops can be grown. Beaches and rivers are considered regular plains. Desert lakes and badlands biomes are considered steppes/savannas.
You can water beds BEFORE and AFTER planting. This is done using a bucket (one-time use) or a watering can (which has a storage capacity). You can view the crafting recipe for the watering can in `/newcrafts`. If plants are not watered, they will dry out. This does not apply to vanilla crops (wheat, potatoes, etc. - they can be grown without watering). Using an analytical lens, you can click on a bed to check its moisture level.
Sometimes crows will fly in to feast on your crops. However, they won’t attack garlic, eggplant, or cotton.
Cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, and pineapples will attract crows more often. The favorite treats are grapes and corn. But don’t worry, there’s a scarecrow! You need 1 scarecrow per chunk to keep crows away.
Harvesting and Selling
You can harvest crops by right-clicking - in most cases, you’ll get seeds and the vegetable/fruit itself. In some cases, you’ll need to gather seeds separately and replant. After harvesting, you may get regular produce or higher quality ones: silver and gold tier. The simplest ones are sold at your town’s market `/builds t >> Market`. Keep in mind that the world is divided into continents. Grow what sells at your market.
Silver and gold quality crops can only be sold through the special building "*Farm*".
Fertilizers and Auto-Waterers
To speed up plant growth, increase yield, or improve the chance of getting higher quality crops, you can use fertilizers! They can be crafted at the *Farm* using available materials. There are five types of fertilizers:
1) Speed fertilizer - speeds up crop growth
2) Moisture retention fertilizer - preserves moisture (which gets depleted).
3) Quality fertilizer - increases the chance of getting high-quality crops.
4) Yield fertilizer - increases the drop from a single crop.
5) Growth elixir - increases the chance of plants turning into giants.
In the same building, auto-waterers are sold. Their range of action is indicated in the description. Auto-waterers start working after some time and keep the beds constantly watered.
